That's what is on my mind. We live in a shared environment, but the ipod is taking every bit of that away. Today I realized in the faux-physical activity of stationary bike riding that the shared environment everywhere is disappearing. It has been for years by the privatization of public spaces, but now they have taken our ears as well. Yes I am a hypocrite, I was one of those individual self contained body builders, but I am a peasent to trendy technology.
